Savage Automotive

Savage Automotive is a family-owned and operated auto repair business established over 45 years ago in Philadelphia, PA. Since 2003, under the leadership of Joe Rakowski, we have specialized in hybrid and electric vehicle repair, leveraging advanced diagnostic tools and extensive technical expertise. Our team of certified technicians receives monthly training to stay at the forefront of automotive technology, ensuring precise diagnostics and repairs for both conventional and electric vehicles. We prioritize customer relationships over transactional interactions, offering transparent service that educates clients about their vehicles. Our commitment to sustainability is demonstrated through eco-friendly practices like recycling used motor oil to heat our facility. With a focus on hybrid battery conditioning, electrical system diagnostics, and preventative maintenance, we serve Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, Delaware, and Princeton, NJ.

Our state-of-the-art equipment and philosophy of repairing rather than replacing components help customers save money while maintaining vehicle performance. We pride ourselves on resolving complex automotive issues that even dealerships avoid, backed by decades of experience and a reputation for honesty. Our service extends beyond repairs to include low rolling resistance tire recommendations, oil changes, and check engine light diagnostics, all performed with a dedication to customer satisfaction. This combination of technical proficiency, environmental responsibility, and personalized service has earned us a loyal customer base that continues to grow through referrals.
