Our Story

Since 1939, Hollenshade's Auto Service has been a trusted name in the Towson and Baltimore metropolitan areas, providing top-notch car repair and maintenance services to the community. Our family-owned and operated business has been serving the region for over 80 years, and we're proud to have earned the highest rating assigned to a business by the Better Business Bureau.

Our History

It all started when C. Lee Hollenshade Jr. opened a Texaco gas station in 1939 at the northwest corner of York Road and Burke Avenue, across from Towson University. Fast forward to the 1970s, when the business was moved to a new location on Goucher Boulevard and Putty Hill Avenue. In the 1980s, we settled at our current location on East Joppa Road, where we continue to operate today.
