The European Car has a rich history that dates back to 1991 when it was incorporated as a new entity, following the purchase of German Auto, Inc. German Auto had been in the business of repairing and maintaining high-end European Cars for 25 years prior to its purchase. This marked the beginning of a new era for Canton Motor Car Works, which was rebranded as The European Car. Over the years, the company has continued to evolve, with longtime head mechanic Jeff Welch taking ownership of the business. Despite the changes, the company remains committed to providing exceptional service to its customers, with its top-ranked service engineers performing the magic behind the scenes.

Our Services

At The European Car, we offer a wide range of services to cater to the needs of our customers. We are capable of performing all services on most every foreign and domestic vehicle, with the exception of Transmission work and Airbag repairs. Our services include:

Automotive Service

We stock and sell parts for most all vehicles we service, and if we don't have the part you need, we can generally procure it from area dealers and vendors within two to three times a day.

Auto Body Services

We offer access to many other services while your vehicle is in our care, including Paintless Dent Removal, Body Shop services, and Automobile Detailing.

Tire Care Services

We are a registered Installation Facility for The Tire Rack, one of the country's premier tire retailers.
