Our History

Our story began over seven decades ago, when Clay Sims, a skilled welder, decided to put his trade to use and open a radiator repair shop in Decatur, Georgia. His brother, Lamar, soon joined him, and together they worked side by side for over three decades, employing and training more repairmen, mechanics, and drivers to join them in the business. As they grew, they expanded to larger shops, and eventually, the current location in Tucker. Over the years, Sims Radiator Service has employed 18 different family members, mostly as summer vacation helpers, making us the largest radiator shop business in the Atlanta area.
