Poor Experience with Estimates and Repairs
Two customers, Michelle H. and Brooke Lomonte, had negative experiences with estimates and repairs at Dave's Auto. Michelle H. was given an estimate of $761.88 for a power steering pump and serpentine belt replacement, but when she checked the prices herself, she found that the parts would cost around $200. She declined the repair and had her son-in-law complete the job for $249. Brooke Lomonte was told that her vehicle didn't need brakes, but when she took it to another mechanic, they found that the master cylinder was cracked and leaking brake fluid.
