Our History

Nordstrom's Automotive Inc. was established in 1969, just outside of Sioux Falls in the town of Garretson. Initially, we supplied quality used and remanufactured auto parts to the Sioux Falls and surrounding markets. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include a full-service automotive repair and maintenance center.

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and technology, allowing us to provide a wide range of services to our customers. From everyday upkeep items such as tires and brakes, tune-ups, and general automotive service, to major engine and transmission repair, we have the expertise and resources to handle any job. We also offer full vehicle maintenance services such as fuel injection cleaning, oil changes, transmission flushing, and many other preventive maintenance services designed to extend the life of your vehicle.

Quality Used Auto Parts

At Nordstrom's, we understand that buying used auto parts may seem unconventional, but we assure you that our quality recycled auto parts are a cost-effective alternative to traditional new parts. Every vehicle on the road is used, and if a vehicle is involved in an accident and not put back on the road, the parts are inspected and turned into quality recycled auto parts by us. These parts often have as little as 5 miles on them and come with a one-year parts and labor warranty when installed by our skilled technicians. We are so confident in our parts and installation process that we offer this service to give you confidence in the parts and save you money.

Aftermarket Parts

In addition to our quality used auto parts, we also carry a large selection of aftermarket parts at great prices. If new OEM parts are not in your budget and used parts are not available, we can take care of your needs with an aftermarket auto part.

At Nordstrom's, we believe in keeping our customers informed throughout the repair process. We are capable of communicating with you by text message to update you on the status of your vehicle and any other needs it may have. This way, you won't be disturbed by phone calls, and you'll always be up-to-date on what's happening with your vehicle.

Convenience

We understand that your time is valuable, and that's why we offer extended hours for our service center. Our hours are 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, and we are closed on New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. For appointments or special arrangements to pick up a car after hours, please call us at 594-2211 and choose from the menu. We accept all major credit cards and look forward to serving your auto repair needs.
